I have to admit that Justin Timberlake has been a guilty pleasure of mine for a long time. I pre-ordered Futuresex/Lovesounds on iTunes and was eagerly anticipating the CD. When I first ran through the album I was surprised. It wasn’t what I was expecting but the more I listened the more I liked it. The first single “Sexyback” is a fun-strange dance trip and sets up most of the rest of the album. While repetition harms some of the songs (I get really tired of some of the repeated lyrics)… it’s a CD I’d put on to feel a bit more excited and sexy.
Again though, JT is a guilty pleasure… so I don’t really like telling people I love his music.
