For all of those nay sayers who don’t think Firefly and Buffy/Angel are connected… I give you the “fat grandchildren” connection…
In Amends Buffy makes a reference to not seeing fat grandchildren in her future with Spike. Jenny Calendar/the First told Angel in “Amends” that she wanted to die surrounded by fat grandchildren.
In Our Mrs. Renyolds Inara wishes Mal and Saffron hundreds of fat children.
I’m not sure what Joss’ deal with fat kids is…. but it’s there.
