   250 words or less? Isn’t that kind of small if we’re supposed to be telling them how big an impact Buffy has had on our lives?

   But it sounds like a cool contest. Personally, I wouldn’t mind winning the runners-up prize. Not sure if I want to be in a comic.

   yeah.. but it’s a quick turn around contest (I think it’s March deadline)… Plus Joss is gonna be selecting the winner.

   What does “appearance in an upcoming issue” mean? Is it just in one panel, in the background? Or do you get to be an actual bit character? …Or possibly more?

   OMG! I am SO entering!

   Do you think I should be honest and talk about how fandom has ruined my life, wreaking havoc on my GPA, but that BtVS have inspired me to be a screenwriter, OR should I BS them about how Buffy’s powerful womanhood has given me confidence, etc. ?

   I could do a kinda combination, only totally honest, about how my writing mostly has a feminist bent now.

   What kind of “more” would you be hoping for?

   I assume first prize would entail sending them pictures of yourself. Maybe your beauty would inspire them to make a full time character out of you.
