I’m pretty much addicted to cross-culture experiences. I grew up in a community that was 90% Latino, sometimes I catch myself thinking like a member of the Latino community. I adore all kinds of foods (Thai, Chinese, Ethopian… bring it on). I adore finding out what things mean and how things work (no, I’m not Sylar from Heroes). I also love learning new langugaes (but I don’t know any other languge fluently.
This last Sunday I was in Chinatown and loving every minute of it. It’s a different culture than China itself, and I understand that, but parts of Chinese culture here in the US – very cool. I like blending in the best of all cultures…Who would we be without a diversity? It’s kind of hard to imagine. That’s part of why I like Firefly… it’s a blending of cultures.
