If you love Chuck (as much as I do, more, or at least like the show) – it’s one of those “on the bubble” shows that may not get picked for next year. If you’re not familiar with NBC’s Chuck, it’s a quirky comedy-drama starring Adam Baldwin (Firefly/Angel).

Since the show is up for renewal (along with our beloved Dollhouse) and fans are trying to be smart about getting the show picked up. Instead of sending thousands of peanuts or pencils they’re encouraging people to watch, buy, share and write to get the show continued.

I know what you’re saying “another save my show campaign?” But Chuck creator Josh Schwartz said this in a recent New York Times interview:

The difference between being a hit show and being an on-the-bubble show is so small now. The metrics have become so narrow that everything does help. If you do have a loyal fan base that really can make a difference. Now, more than ever, that kind of fan support can really have an impact. The cost of launching a television series is as high as it’s ever been. And obviously the odds have never gotten any better. If you look at NBC they’ve had a history of being patient with “The Office,” “30 Rock.” “Friday Night Lights” is a show where they’ve found a way to maintain its audience. Word of mouth is the most old-fashioned trend in entertainment and it still holds true. To sustain and hold onto our audience would be significant enough.

Part of the fan campaign is showing that the advertisements work. In a recent episode a Subway’s sandwhich was featured (quite prominently) so fans are rallying to go into Subway TODAY and buy sandwiches (before the Season Finale of Chuck). From ChuckTV.net:

To reward and incentivize Subway for their product placement support of Chuck, on the evening of the season finale, April 27th, go to your local Subway to purchase a $5 FOOTLONG. Drop a note in the comment box at the franchise letting them know you’re participating in the ChuckTV.net campaign to save NBC’s Chuck, of which Subway is a product placement sponsor. If you plan to do this, be sure to include that intent in your letters to Ben Silverman and Angela Bromstad at NBC.

I will admit it. I’m a kid at heart. I still love watching cartoons, kids’ movies and even some preschool shows. One of my new favorite is “Imagination Movers”, a peppy up-beat show featuring a rocking kids’ band – The Imagination Movers.

What is the Imagination Movers? The Imagination Movers is a kids band AND a TV show on Playhouse Disney. The premise is the Imagination Movers work in a large warehouse with the mission to solve people’s problems. Their good friend Nina, whose uncle Knit Knots works in the warehouse too, often brings them problems and helps the movers solve them. The problems can range from the daily problems we all face (how do you cure hiccups) to the hilarious (how do you get a giant pumpkin out the door). By ‘brainstorming’ and learning the Movers solve their problems and make great music.

What do I love about the Imagination Movers? They teach kids the value of problem solving, without being cliche or trite. The enthusasm of the four main characters (Dave, Smitty, Rich and Scott) is infectious without being overbearing. And the songs are just rocking and singable!

Also, there’s a fun story arch (for me at least) about how they can’t get any customers and all the things they do to try and GET customers. In one episode they hang a banner and in another episode they buy some radio ad time.

What is the big idea? If you’re looking for a show that both YOU and your preschooler can enjoy I highly recommend the Imagination Movers. Or if you’re looking for some fun music to enjoy buy one (or all) of their CDs. They’re guaranteed to keep your spirits, energy and imagination levels at all time high, without you wanting to strangle someone.

I am absolutely in love with this show. Not only does it have the ever lovable David Boreanaz but it’s a team of total geeks. It’s a clever murder/mystery show that gets well, gross sometimes. It also has characters that I have fallen in love with. I’m catching up on Season 1 currently and loving it. Now if someone could cross Bones and House MD together – I’d be extremely happy.

Inspired by the ever imaginative duo of and here’s my top ten episodes of Buffy based on the following critera:

1. Willow, Xander, Bangle, Andrew or Anya-ness.
2. Must contain at least one episode from each season
3. Episodes I would watch again and again
4. Laugh/entertainment OR thought factor

So here we go (cut for spoilers):

10. Angel (Season 1)
Why? Mmmm check the Bangle factor, plus Darla is awesome in this epsiode for not having a bunch of back story as she does later on.

9. Hells Bells (Season 6)
While I hate the heart break here, the hilariousness between both sides of the families, plus the inner struggle Xander feels makes for great television. It captures pre-wedding jitters, confusion and heartbreak so well. Plus, Anya’s dress rocks.

8. School Hard (2)
Spike and Dru. ’nuff said. Plus Joyce with an axe scaring Spike off is awesome.

7. Storyteller (7)
Andrew rocks the casbah. Seriously. This episode has the great workings of hilariousness, seriousness and Andrew. Did I mention Andrew?

6. The Replacement (5)
This episode is great food for discussion. Do we really contain both sides to be an amazingly dorky geek AND a put-together go-getter? Plus Anya’s line about waiting until later to put them back together had me laughing for days.

5. Fear Itself (4)
I adore Oz’ lines in this one (Especially the ongoing “God” joke), plus this gives insight into my favorite characters – Oz, WIllow, Xander and who couldn’t love Anya in a bunny suit? I especially like the tribute to the quote “nothing to fear but fear itself”.

4. Passion (2)
As much as I love Bangle… I love this episode. Maybe because I love Bangle so much. It shows the dark side of a romance gone wrong, the darkside of ourselves (after all don’t we all have an inner Angelus creeping under the surface?) David B. was GREAT as a handsome evil man and I think he should pick up that kind of role again.

2. Band Candy (3)
Probably one of the funniest episodes ever. The reversion into teenage years, Principal Snyder, Giles/Joyce (which SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED MORE)….ahem (and to clarify, not because of the whole Buffy parent/s thing.. because they were awesome together). Ethan Rayne AND the Mayor? Great bad guys.

1. Doppelgangland
I adore vamp Willow, love vamp Willow and Willow interacting, love the foreshadowing, love Willow pretending to be vamp Willow… and really love the ending.
